TCC-24 : CAT-24
DO not give up. The end is near.
MACRO VIEW
The test had a good combination of questions of varying complexity. The best way to stay away from traps would have been implementation of selection parameters. It would have ensured attainment of goals, set for each section, within set time and continuous motivation to keep moving ahead despite the presence of tricky blocks.

Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Superstition’ was moderately comprehensible wherein, at least three out of the four questions could have been answered without much effort.
The second passage on ‘Mars’ was both lucid and simple. Three out of the four questions could have been answered in the blink of an eye whereas one of them would have taken some time. A sincere reading of the entire passage would have rolled out answers for all of them.
The third passage on ‘Ornamentation’ was a little complex because of the language employed. Additionally, test takers might have felt stuck while answering few of the questions. This passage should have been either attempted at the end or left untouched altogether because of the absence of SDQs.
The fourth passage on ‘Occam Razor’ required a good reading after which at least two of the four questions could have been answered in a trice. After batting a few eyelids, the other two could have been answered as well.
Verbal Ability
This segment was trickier than the Reading Comprehension segment. There were in total 8 questions, out of which 4 questions could be answered with ease. Rest of the questions needed deliberation.
LR & DI
This section was dominated by Logical Reasoning. There were no blocks from Data Interpretation.
A brief scan of the section has been done below:
Q 25 to Q 29 : The block on four local trains from Liverpool was of moderate complexity. Understanding the data would have taken some time and then the entire block would have been solved in a span of seven minutes.
Q 30 to Q 34 : The DI block on city happiness was not at all challenging. If the data was read correctly, this block could have easily fetched a plus 12.
Q 35 to Q 39 : The block on housing complex required knowledge about Set Theory & Venn Diagrams. Absence of options made it tricky, but it with some efforts and time it could have been sloved.
Q 40 to Q 44 : This block was the easiest of the lot and should have been attempted within 3-4 minutes.
Mathematics
The section can be categorized as moderately complex and a scan of the same has been done below.

Many questions were simple or moderate and could have been answered comfortably. Choosing Algebra and Arithmetic over Geometry Family would have been a smart move, and that done with Number System with the requisite accuracy would have itself resulted in the desired percentile.
With this we conclude this analysis.
