TCC-25 : CAT-25
We need to keep fighting and continue till we reach our destination.
MACRO VIEW
This test was moderately complex. The English section was of moderate complexity. Reading Comprehension segment was simpler than the Verbal Ability segment. The LR&DI section was complex and time-consuming. Mathematics section had very few easy questions.
MICRO VIEW
English
Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Western Notions’ was comprehensible and all the questions could have been answered.
The second passage on ‘Bernard Stiegler’ was another intelligible one where all the direct questions could have been answered.
The third passage on ‘Covid’ was a challenging one. It required excellent Reading Skills to come unscathed.
The fourth passage on ‘Time travel’ was both lucid and perspicuous. Here, two out of the three questions could have been easily managed.
Verbal Ability
All the Summary questions could be answered with ease. The Parajumble questions were trickier and needed deliberation. Text Completion questions could have been attempted with ease.
LR & DI
The section can be categorised as moderately complex. A good use of selection parameters would have prevented one from getting stuck.
Q 25 to Q 28 : The block on Business Schools was a moderately complex block. Absence of options made it tricky. It would have taken time, but was doable. It should have been attempted, but not at the beginning itself.
Q 29 to Q 33 : The CMTL block was moderately complex, but was doable. It required basic mathematics skills to solve quicker. It should have been attempted.
Q 34 to Q 38 : The block on librarian was both challenging and time-consuming. Absence of options added to the complexity. This block should have been attempted at the end, if time permitted.
Q 39 to Q 42 : This was a complex block. It was time consuming to crack it. It should have been attempted after deliberation.
Q 43 to Q 46 : This was a doable block. It required specks from Algebra and complete focus. It should have been attempted.

Arithmetic was doable. A few of the Algebra questions could have been attempted too. Students with a good hold on Geometry Family Concepts would have found one of the questions manageable.
All in all, the section was complex and caution had to be exercised.
With this we conclude this analysis.
