MICRO VIEW
English
Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Art’ was perplexing and incomprehensible to a certain extent. Besides, there were no Specific Detail Questions, thereby raising multiple red flags. This should have been attempted with due caution.
The second passage on ‘Thermodynamics’ was another difficult one. The language used was not simple adding to the complexity. Two questions could have been answered comfortably. The remaining required deliberation.
The third passage on ‘Japan and its cultural acceptance’ was not too simple but it could have been answered if the question types taught in class were well known. It should have been attempted.
The fourth passage on ‘Libraries’ was perspicuous enough to answer all the questions.
Verbal Ability
Parajumble questions and Text Completion questions required some deliberation. All the Summary questions were doable.
LR & DI
Q 25 to Q 29 : The block on Singing Reality Show was an easy one. It was a must-do block.
Q 29 to Q 34 : The block on Mr C.K. was very complex. It required undivided focus and attention to get to plus fifteen.
Q 35 to Q 38 : The block on Indian Media Houses was moderate. It was time consuming and required analysis of multiple cases. However, this block could have been attempted correctly if one was patient.
Q 39 to Q 42 : The block on CEOs and Companies was moderately complex, but to get past this block unscathed one had to be laser focussed. Hence, being cautious was imperative.
Q 42 to Q 46 : The block on four companies wanting to take over Mittal Steel was time consuming and grueling. It should have been attempted after deliberation.
