MACRO VIEW

One who has followed POAs to a T, mastered the respective concept classes, and practised from the Study Material in the suggested manner should be able to tackle the tests effortlessly.

This test was moderately complex. It comprised multiple easy questions but they were majorly restricted to the English and the Mathematics section. There were equal number of easy and difficult questions. The English section was dominated by Reading Comprehension. The LR & DI section was highly stimulating. The Mathematics section was presided by Geometry Family and Basic Algebra.

 

MICRO VIEW

English

Reading Comprehension

The first passage on “Sigmund Freud” was difficult to comprehend. It comprised Inference-based Questions and Application-based Questions. The absence of direct questions added to the complexity. This passage demanded huge investment of time and energy. Hence, it should have been attempted with caution.

The second passage on “Conventional Wisdom” was a simple one, despite its length. The passage should have been answered with accuracy. It contained one Central Idea Question and four Specific Detail Questions that made this passage a cake walk.

The third passage on “Net Neutrality” was a lengthy and a complex passage. It comprised Logical Structure Question, Central Idea Question, and Inference Based Questions. This passage needed undivided concentration.

The fourth passage on “Cancer” was a moderately complex passage. It comprised Central Idea Question, Inference Based Question and Application Based question. All the questions were doable.

 

Verbal Ability

Verbal Ability comprised questions from Parajumble, Text Completion, Summary. Parajumble and Summary questions were doable. They were of moderate complexity. Text Completion questions wre complex. This segment was doable given that one has mastered the English Concept Classes and had been practising these topics relentlessly.

 

LR & DI

The following is a representation of the nature of the blocks.

Q 25 to Q 29 : This DI block was moderately complex. It demanded concentration, but was doable. It should have been attempted.

Q 30 to Q 34 : The block on six plots of lands was a stimulating block. It required undivided focus to crack this block successfully.

Q 35 to Q 38 : The block on MMT was a moderate one. It was lengthy and required a good time investment. Therefore, it does not qualify as the starter block.

Q 39 to Q 42 : The block on foreign currencies was a moderate block. This block should have been attempted.

Q 43 to Q 46 : The block on five items was a moderate block. Presence of Otherwise questions added to the complexity. This block should have been attempted.

The question from Functions was an absolute lollipop. Geometry Family was doable. Arithmetic was easily manageable. Basic Algebra contained a few easy questions which could have been attempted.
