Laboratory Test - 5 : WarmUp-3
Welcome to the analysis of WarmUp - 3 which happens to be the fifth Laboratory Test.
MACRO VIEW
Overall, the test was moderately complex. The English section was dominated by Reading Comprehension passages. Mental Gymnasium along with Reading Tests would have helped to perform decently in this section. The LR & DI section was comparatively difficult. The Mathematics section was of moderate complexity.

Reading Comprehension
Three out four Reading Comprehension passages were easy-moderate. The section came with a few difficlut questions as well.
The first passage was on “Neanderthals”. It was of moderate complexity, but it wasn’t lengthy. There were two Specific Detail Questions. One detailed reading would have been enough to attempt at least two of the four questions.
The second passage on “Dark Stark Rising” was an easy one. One could have comprehend this passage with ease and all answered the questions.
The third passage, on “Economics”, was not too complex. The questions ranged between Specific Detail Questions and Central Idea Questions. All of these questions could be answered after a solid micro reading.
The fourth passage, on “Genes”, was relatively complex. Meticulous reading would have kept the boat afloat. Two out of four questions could be answered with accuracy easily.
Verbal Ability
Verbal Ability was a mix bag of easy and moderate questions. The Parajumbles were doable. Text Completion questions required efforts. Had all the concepts been in place, Summary questions were also manageable.
LR & DI
Here is a quick description of the blocks :
Q 25 to Q 28 : The block on Changani shop was easy. The data had to be read carefully to derive meaningful conclusions. It could have been attempted within 6 minutes.
Q 29 to Q 32 : The block on coins exchange was moderately complex. The given data should have been captured in a user-friendly manner to derive meaningful conclusions. This block could have been done within 10-12 minutes.
Q 33 to Q 37 : The block on Indiana Hikes was quite a labyrinth. Seemingly simple, but one could get easily trapped. This block should have been attempted at the end with caution.
Q 38 to Q 42 : The block on cast and crew was another complex block. Presence of 'Otherwise' question made it more challenging. This block required unflinching focus and attention to work successfully through all the cases and come to a solution.
Q 43 to Q 46 : This seemingly simple block on ants has its own set of challenges. Very minute reading was imperative to crack this block and come to a solution. After understanding the block, it would have taken a maximum of 6-8 minutes to solve it completely.
Mathematics
This section was of moderate complexity but it did contain a few difficult questions from Geometry.
Here is a brief representation of the section according to their complexity and the must-do questions that could have taken one close to the optimum threshold.

With this we conclude the analysis of this test.
Let us pave way for further twists, turns and surprises that adds value as well as prepares one for all possible scenarios.
Complete focus towards POAs is imperative.
Our support and best wishes, always.
