MACRO VIEW
This particular test was relatively more complex. It comprised easy questions but due diligence had to be deployed to locate them and extract the best from them.
The English section was dominated by a moderate Reading Comprehension segment. Verbal Ability comprised 5 questions, all of which were doable. The LR & DI section was a mixed bag of easy and moderately complex blocks. The Mathematics section was dominated by Arithmetic and was of moderate complexity.

Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Government services’ was a simple and a comprehensible passage consisting of five questions. The Central Idea of the passage could have been deciphered easily that further aided in answering all the questions in a few minutes.
The second passage on ‘Grove Snails’ was not too friendly but the direct questions could have been answered with ease. Others required good reading skills.
The third passage on ‘Saturn’ was straightforward. The simple sentences made the entire passage understandable to answer all the questions.
The fourth passage on ‘Obesity levels’ was a comparatively more complex. This passage demanded caution.
Verbal Ability
There were four questions from Parajumble and one question from Summary. Two out of the four Parajumble questions were easy and the remaining required Crystal Clear Concepts. The question on summary was of moderate complexity. All these five questions were doable.
LR & DI
Q 25 to Q 28 : The block on seven candidates invited for an interview was a moderately complex block. Additional data added to the complexity. However, a sound macro-view of the block would have ensured solving this block within four minutes.
Q 29 to Q 32 : The block on an agency entrusted to accredit colleges was moderately complex. It was calculation intensive but thanks to LOC, the intricate hurdle was lowered substantially. It should have been attempted.
Q 33 to Q 36 : The block on a coding scheme was the easiest LR block and should have been on the must-do list.
Q 37 to Q 40 : The block on four brands of entry level smartphones was simple enough to be completed in a span of five minutes. It should have been attempted at the start.
Q 41 to Q 44 : The block on base exchange rate was very taxing and time consuming. It should have been attempted after deliberation.

Arithmetic ruled the roost in this section. Stranglehold over Arithmetic as well as (Basic) Algebra and Number System was imperative to get past this section successfully.
