TCC-25 : CAT-25
‘Peerless’ is one who comes back stronger after each setback.
MACRO VIEW

Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Happiness’ was lucid. It comprised five questions, three of which could have been answered effortlessly while the other two required some effort to answer them correctly.
The second passage on ‘Plastic Pollution’ was an intelligible and a cogent passage. One sincere reading of the entire passage would have rolled out answers to all the five questions.
The third passage on ‘the importance of Second World War airbrushed’ was quite explicit given the simple language used throughout the passage. At least four out of five questions could have been answered easily. The remaining one required deliberation.
The fourth passage on ‘Elephants and humans’ was lucid enough to decipher the Central Idea of the passage. All the questions were doable but one should have been very cautious while answering as the options were too close to each other to tell them apart easily.
Verbal Ability
The Verbal Ability comprised only two topics viz. Parajumble and Summary. Thanks to the English concept classes all the questions could have been comfortably managed.
All in all, the entire section would have been a piece of cake if the classes on these topics have been mastered.
LR & DI
Q 25 to Q 28 : The block on a company administering a written test comprising three sections of 20 marks each was a block of medium complexity. It required calculating the composite score to solve this block successfully. Once that was done, all the questions could have been answered at a blistering pace.
Q 29 to Q 32 : The block on four female and four male students studying in three different institutes with majors and minors in three different subjects was a moderate block. The best approach to solve this would have been to construct a table. If one was thorough with the data, the entire table could have been constructed with ease.
Q 33 to Q 36 : The block on Fuel contamination levels would have led to a lot of cases and hence would have been time consuming. Though not too difficult to solve, yet it would have certainly eaten up a lot of time. It should have been attempted after deliberation.
Q 37 to Q 40 : The block on a n*n matrix was an absolute lollipop. It was a must-do block.
Q 41 to Q 44 : The block on 1600 satellites was a taxing Set Theory related block. Using the concept taught in class, this could have been solved but it demanded lot of time, energy and patience. It should have been approached with due caution.
