The Mathematics section had questions from multiple topics but was dominated by Arithmetic and Number System.
MICRO VIEW
English
Reading Comprehension
The first passage on ‘Sociologists’ was moderately complex. The questions ranged from Inference Based to Application based questions. It should have been attempted.
The second passage on ‘Nature and humans’ was easy to comprehend. A detailed micro reading would have rolled out all the answers.
The third passage on ‘Orientalism’ was precarious and the options were too close, making it difficult. However, Mental Gymnasium and Book Reading would have come to the rescue.
The fourth passage was another simple passage. The questions were easily manageable once the central theme of the passage was understood. Good reading habit would have acted as a catalyst.
Verbal Ability
Text Completion and Parajumble questions were relatively easy. Two question from Parajumble could have been easily managed if one has practiced well. Summary questions required deliberation. Mastering the Concept Classes was imperative.
LR & DI
Q 25 to Q 29 : The block on first-year students choosing courses was onerous and time-consuming. Undiluted attention for eight-ten minutes would have rolled out the answers. However, it should have been attempted after deliberation.
Q 30 to Q 34 : The block on four people participating in a tournament of eight rounds was moderately complex. It required a proper understanding of the logic and a good grasp on numbers. It could have been attempted.
Q 35 to Q 39 : The block on new cases of a disease in four neighbourhoods was one of the easiest. It could have been solved within six minutes.
Q 40 to Q 44 : This DI block on the mortality rate for a disease was another easy block. It was a cakewalk given the structure taught in class was followed. It was a must-do.
